Central Greenwich Village / SoHo
Food and Culture Walking Tour

(est. 2006)

A food tasting ramble through two historic neighborhoods

This tour begins where our "Original Greenwich Village Tour" leaves off. Join us as we trip back in time through the central section of Greenwich Village and the Italian area of SoHo.

As we wander through Central Greenwich Village you will discover an area once enjoyed by bohemians, beatniks, artists, and folk singers. Relish in the rich history and culture of this old immigrant neighborhood as we stroll through Washington Square Park, view late 18th century architecture, find the best venues for live music and comedy, and taste delicious food specialties from unique ethnic eateries and restaurants.

Upon entering SoHo you will experience the quiet calm of an old Italian neighborhood. Within minutes you will understand how this old neighborhood has survived. During our stroll you will be introduced to "mom and pop" eateries while enjoying delicious tastings from several of them.
